During Easter weekend, HOSA members collected money outside Stop and Shop in East Haven and received many generous donations. The highlight of the event happened when a therapy dog (a golden retriever), holding a dollar donation in its mouth, walked up to Ashley Poirier, one of the students and "handed" it to her. The generosity of the community made a tremendous impression on the 6 HOSA students who ran the fundraiser on Saturday, March 30th.
