I have been a registered nurse for the past 36 years and a full time teacher at East Haven High School since 1997.  For the past 8 years, I have also been the Local Advisor of HOSA-Future Health Professionals at the school. 

I am currently a part time Clinical Adjunct Faculty member in the Gateway Community College RN Program.  This helps me prepare my current students for the rigors of a college level course in the medical field.

I am a volunteer member of the MRC (Medical Reserve Corps), a group of citizens who are trained to assist their communities during disasters.  The MRC is sponsored by the East Shore District Health Department. 

I volunteer twice each month at ASRC (Autism Services and Resources Connecticut) a non-profit located in Wallingford, CT that supports families with members on the autism spectrum.
