The staff, parents and students were so excited to view the the final products of the Momauguin School egg drop competition. Students were challenged by their teachers to create a device that would hold a single raw egg. This device would be dropped at least 15 feet from the air. When the day arrived to try out the devices, everyone stood in awww as they watched each device fall. Thereafter, students eagerly went to their device to see if their eggs survived. Survive or not, students were engaged and enthusiastic about their project. Students are currently learning about matter in science and are constantly applying their understanding of the scientific method so this activity was a wonderful challenge for thinking with a big scoop of creativity and fun!
