East Haven Town Urban Renewal & Community Development Office

Community Development Coordinator James Albis and secretary Francine Gaglione run this office as a two-person team. The main purpose is to administer the town's Small Cities Block Grant. The grant money goes to housing rehab programs for low-income families, to tend to such matters as leaky roofs and broken furnaces. The office also takes blight complaints, and runs a summer-youth employment program funded by a state grant.
