Benefit Wine Class

A good friend of mine has a brother that just got diagnosed with cancer. It's scary because I graduated high school with this guy back in '92. Cancer knows no age, ethnicity, social economic status..nothing. I'm sure many of us know someone or have had family members suffer with this illness.
For the entire month of November, I will donate proceeds from all classes done at Grand Vin Fine Wines New Haven to Mike and his family to try and help offset bills, whatever they need while he undergoes treatment to battle stage 4 Cancer.
I invite you all to come, enjoy a night to learn about wines all the while knowing that you are helping a local family and friend get through these difficult times.
First class is November 7th beginning at 6:30PM.  Price is $30/person, $50/couple which includes the class and wine paired with an artisan cheese plate.  Please email me at wineschool101@gmail.com to RSVP prior to November 4th.  Due to class size, we are unable to accommodate walk ins.

"Hello All, My older brother Mike who's 39 years old was recently diagnosed with Colon Cancer that has spread to his lungs. He currently began Chemo on 9/5/13. He will need to go through all the chemo before they can go in and remove the tumor. In the mean time he's unable to work at the moment and I've been trying to come up with ways to help his wife Kelly and their 4 children with all of the day to day bills when I came across this site and thought it might be worth a shot."
