Week Ahead in East Haven: Fundraisers and Flu Shots

Monday, October 7

The Dig Pink Breast Cancer Volleyball Game will be held at 5:30 PM at the East Haven High School Gym. Come out and support the EHHS Girls Volleyball Team in their efforts to raise money for breast cancer. They will play their regularly scheduled games vs Sheehan High School. During the game, they will be selling pink bracelets, holding a raffle and more. All proceeds go to The Side-Out Foundation, non profit organization.

Tuesday, October 8

At 5:30pm at the East Haven Senior Center, the EHHS Girls Soccer Team will be holding a pasta dinner fundraiser. Come enjoy a great meal and win some fabulous raffle prizes all while supporting the team. Tickets are $5.00 and can be purchased from any player or at the door.

Wednesday, October 9

The East Shore District Health Department will hold a Flu Clinic at 2pm at the Old Stone Church in East Haven. They accept certain insurance including: Anthem BC/BS, Connecticare, Medi-Blue, Medicare Part B and Cigna.  The cost of vaccine for those not covered by insurance will be $25.00. Children younger than 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent.  Flu vaccinations will also be available every Thursday as a drop in during November or by appointment at other times at the Health Department during October, November, December and January.
