Monday, Sept. 16

The East Haven Arts Commission meets at 7pm at the Old High School building at 200 Tyler Street. 

The Housing Authority also meets tonight at 7pm at Town Hall in the Mario Giaimo Room.

Tuesday, Sept. 17
The Water Pollution Control Authority meets at 7pm at Town Hall. 

The School Building Committee meets at 7pm at Town Hall in the Mario Giaimo Room. 

Wednesday, Sept. 18

Mother Goose on the Loose musical story-time for babies and toddlers takes place at the Hagaman Library starting at 10:30am.

Staff members in the office of U.S. Senator Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) will hold mobile office hours at the Hagaman Library, DeMayo Community Room from 1:30pm to 4pm. This is an opportunity for constituents to meet with Murphy’s staff and discuss any issues they may experience with the federal government or a federal agency. The'll be available to assist with issues such as Social Security benefits, Department of Veterans Affairs concerns, immigration issues, and a variety of other matters. 

Have a legal question? Get a free consultation with an attorney from the New Haven County Bar Association. Come for a consultation at the Hagaman Library between 5pm and 7pm. 


Thursday, Sept. 19
Looking for a new job? There's a Support Group at the Hagaman Library from 3pm - 4pm. Liz Drenyoczky, a former hiring manager, can help with polishing up your interviewing and hiring skills.  She'll help you highlight your strengths in your resume as well as to find different programs that you may be eligible for to help with finances during your job search. 

The town's Zoning Board of Appeals meets at 7:30pm at the Senior Center.
