DeLauro Losing Voters

Wayne Winsley, committed to respect and represent all citizens of CT's 3rd Congressional District

“On October 25th, as I have committed to do - and have done -
throughout this campaign, I showed up at West Haven City Hall for the candidate
debate sponsored by United Seniors. The audience of mostly DeLauro supporters also
showed up for the debate.

Unfortunately, in what has become a clear persistent pattern,
Incumbent DeLauro – failed to show-up and participate – yet again, turning her
back on the people of the 3rd Congressional District.

Such ‘turn the back’ behavior - apparently flows from an attitude
– which has grown, over time, with ‘the arrogance of incumbency’.

Obviously, 22 years is:
time too long… arrogance too strong…
and, misrepresentation too wrong.”

As a result of DeLauro’s ‘turn her back’ on constituents, former
supporters had the opportunity last night to ask unlimited questions of me.  Those disappointed Democrats stated they will now
vote for Winsley.”

All the citizens of the 3rd Congressional District -- can
expect - and count on me -- to respect them - and to represent them -- in the
United States Congress.  (Unlike
DeLauro) I would never turn my back to them.”
