Field Day Raises Funds for Rebecca [Photos]

Proceeds from the field day benefit Rebecca Brainerd, who was diagnosed in May with acute lymphoblastic leukemia.

A day of fun and festivities on Saturday raised money for Rebecca Brainerd, an East Haven High School student diagnosed with cancer.

Field day activities included a home run derby, basketball free throw competition, a dunking tank, karaoke, face painting, bean bag toss and raffle prizes. The event took place at Kennedy Field, better known as the Pit.

Earlier this year, her friends at school for $2 each to raise money for her.
