The Amber Alert Child ID program is a voluntary program for all children under the age of 18.

The parent/guardian of participating children will receive a wallet-sized, laminated card with a photo of the child, a unique Amber Alert number and only minimal, yet essential information needed to find a child in the event a child is abducted.

The encrypted information is sent to a secured National Amber Alert data base. Multiple Amber ID cards are available for an additional fee.

The only requirement to obtain the ID card is for the parent/guardian to fill out and sign a brief consent form. The information provided does not identify the child by name, address, school or event location and is only useful to law enforcement and the parent/guardian in an emergency.

Children 8 years of age and younger will be admitted free to Saturday's Breakfast with Santa. Admission for adults will be $5 per person or an unwrapped toy for the “Toy for Tots” program, which is locally being coordinated by the United States Marine Corps.
