East Haven Food Pantry Needs Your Help

With many still struggling in a difficult economy, donations to the East Haven Food Pantry are needed now more than ever.

The number of families and individuals in need within the community is as the economy continues to slowly struggle its way out from the recent recession.

And so, East Haven Food Pantry volunteers are asking residents to asisst them in filling the pantry's shelves.

To help, simply make a donation of non–perishable foods — drop off a bag, case or box of food items — to help those who are less fortunate in the community.

In addition, monetary donations are always welcomed, and can help the pantry fullfill the needs of the community. Checks can be dropped off at the Food Pantry in the basement of or mailed to: East Haven Food Pantry, 39 Park Place, East Haven, CT 06512.

And, the pantry is always looking for residents who can donate a bit of their time as a volunteer.

The food pantry's hours of operation are: Tuesday and Thursday 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and Saturday 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
