Has anyone seen this dog? Pizzy is a 25 pound German Shepard/Beagle mix. Last seen on October 20, 2012 on Brown Road. The Short Beach Area, East Haven Ct.

Pizzy is an older dog who depends on daily medication. Please post any information on Missing Pets of America's facebook page.

The family is offering a reward and is very worried. Let's get Pizzy home.

A Happy Ending--Great! We've been there, and it's an unbelievable feeling, after having been in the depths of despair. Yay 4 Pizzy AND his family!

I hope the pet was found, but where in this story does it say such? Julie made a referrence to it at 11:19 AM. Just concerned that people will think the dog was found when it wasn't.

Richard-- You are right! Pizzy has NOT been found. I think my reply saying " Thanks for helping bring Pizzy home" was misunderstood. I was trying to thank the people who are keeping their eyes open.Going forward, I will be more careful in my message. Thank you! I appreciate all the folks who try to help and want to let them know. Please, keep up the great work! Traci Weber

I walked all over around here on Short Beach Road and will keep doing so. I know your not suppose to put food out because of wild animals, but I put a dish of dog food out for 3 hours each night and watched, hoping if hungry he would come to feed. I will keep looking and praying you find him. I know the heart break you are going through. Please if he is found keep me informed. I will be out looking near the woods tomorrow.

Everyone: Unfortunately, Pizzy is still missing. I've just updated the post with information from the East Haven Animal Shelter, as the family is now offering a reward in hopes of finding Pizzy soon.
