World Cup soccer continues to draw record television crowds, and Hartford and New Haven are among the cities with the greatest viewership.

More than 18 million people watched the United States play Portugal to a 2-2 tie on Saturday, making it the most-watched soccer match ever on U.S. television, according to Mediabistro. The Hartford/New Haven area cracked the list of top markets to watch the big game, with an 11.3 rating.

Rounding out the top markets: Washington, D.C. (13.3) Columbus, OH (12.6), New York (12.5), Boston (11.5), Hartford/New Haven (11.3), Providence (11.2), Atlanta (11.1), Baltimore (11.0), Norfolk (10.5), Orlando (10.5) and Sacramento (10.5), according to the website.
