If you think that's pretty cool, take a look at the satellite view of Brazil from NASA. It shows the 12 cities hosting World Cup games this summer: Brasília, Belo Horizonte, Manaus, Fortaleza, Cuiabá, Porto Alegre, Curitiba, Natal, Recife, Salvador, Rio de Janeiro, and São Paulo.

Brazil is a bright place on any day, holding its place as the largest country in South America and the fifth largest in the world by area. Let's hope the lights stay on for the U.S. team after Thursday's match against Germany at 12 p.m. ET, broadcast on ESPN.
