DigDeep Foundation is for and protection of the right to water. Our foundation raises money to build wells in small communities in Africa so they may have easy access to clean water. Did you know that 1,000,000,000 people do not have regular, safe access to a source of clean water? In Africa, women and often times children have to spend most of their day walking miles to get their daily water and it's not even clean. By donating as little as $20.00, gives one person access to clean water for LIFE! Raising $5000 will fund a well that will bring clean water to a community of 250 people that don't currently have access to clean water. 100% of your donation goes directly to the field, so you can feel good about where your money is going and know you really are making a difference. You will change their lives and help save lives with your efforts.

Please join us for our Walk 4 Water Event and have friends and family sponsor you to raise money. It will be a lot of fun, but most importantly, we will all have a better understanding of what many people around the world have to go through each day just to have water, something we have here so easily by just going to the sink.
Event Details:
The WALK 4 WATER is a 3-mile walk through beautiful Fairfield Hills campus in Newtown, CT. This is a typical distance women and often children in Africa must walk each day to collect water for their families. The first half of the walk we will be empty-handed, the second half we will be carrying 2 2-liter bottles filled with water to simulate what women go through. Walkers can carry the water any way they want on their bodies for the 1.5 miles, whether it be in a bag, backpack, their hands, etc. This is a fundraising drive but also an educational event for people to experience one aspect of water poverty. fundraisers will get pledges and donations for doing the walk with 100% of the donations going to water access projects (like wells). DIGDEEP defends your human right for water for all people. We hope you will participate. Will you DIGDEEP ?

As with any fundraising event, we are looking for people that would like to sponsor their . Your business will get great publicity at this event. We would also love to have massage therapists doing some chair or sports massage. Any business would be welcomed and appreciated.
