Meet author John Guy LaPlante. John is a retired reporter, feature writer,columnist, and editor. His Senior Moments newspaper column has been a prizewinner in the contests of the Connecticut Society of Professional Journalists.
For years, he traveled only during vacations. He began hitting the road big time after retiring. He traveled by VW, bus, plane, train all over the U.S. and in Canada, Mexico and Europe before his big trip around the world. John will tell stories of his trip which was 147 days, 20 countries, and 750 miles for only $83 per day. He will inspire you to do the same, whatever your age. John will sign copies of his book following the presentation.
