Flashes of Light - Fireflies Program

We see them in the summer and catch them as they fly, but how do fireflies work? Learn about lightning bug behavior, differences, and communication in this one-hour program for children and their families.

Kids will enjoy making a glow in the dark bug jar to use this summer, as they catch and release fireflies. Learn how to participate in the Firefly Project and help conserve this insect. Please bring a clear plastic bottle with a cap to the program.

Recommended for age 3 & up. Registration is required.
