Crisafi & Co. Talk Softball Conditioning

Coach Ed Crisafi runs strenuous conditioning sessions to prepare his group for tryouts.

East Haven's varsity softball coach Ed Crisafi knows that building individual toughness is not something that comes with ease. His conditioning program reflects that knowledge. Crisafi uses Florida International University's four-week preseason softball conditioning program to instill that sense of toughness in his group. FIU is a Division I NCAA softball program in Miami, most recently appearing in the 2010 National Tournament.

The YellowJackets are looking to build upon last year's success. Crisafi's team advanced to the second-round of the CIAC Class L tournament where they lost to No. 2 seeded Brookfield. 

Tryouts for the East Haven varsity softball team are on Monday, March 21.
