Tuttle School Celebrates "We Love America Day!"

If you see a mini parade of kids waving American flags walking to town hall on Wednesday, it's the students and teachers from the Grove J. Tuttle School in East Haven.

On September 11 of this year, students and staff at the Grove J. Tuttle School in East Haven will be presenting "We Love America Day!"

The special day includes a march to town hall, student readings, reflections, singing and much more.

According to the school, "the theme for this day is to honor the memory of the heroes of 9/11 and to celebrate the spirit that makes America a great country."

At 10am, Tuttle students will be marching to East Haven Town Hall with their American flags waving proudly.

Students have been asked to bring in one nonperishable item (water, canned food, diapers, etc.) to help out the East Haven Food Pantry and the community.

When you see the students, give them a big cheer!
