Talking With The Animals

Students at East Haven's Family Resource Center recently had a visit from a few friendly creatures from the Beardsley Zoo.

Students at the recently had the chance to spend some time with a few special furry — and not so furry — guests.

The early education program, which is based in , played host to a handful of animals and staff members from the Beardsley Zoo in Bridgeport.

The children had the chance to interact with a furry rabbit, a white dove, a slippery snake and even a little hard-shelled turtle.
