Members of the East Haven Board of Education are expected to discuss and possibly approve a contract extension for Assistant Superintendent of Schools Erica Forti during this evening's regularly scheduled meeting.
The meeting will take place at beginning at 7 p.m.
Forti, along with Superintendent of Schools Anthony Serio, received a one-year contract extension and 2-percent pay increase .
School board members are not expected to discuss or take any action on Serio's contract tonight, according to the meeting's agenda — which is posted in the gallery that accompanies this article.
Finance Subcommittee
Prior to this evening's regular meeting, the school board's Finance Subcommittee will meet beginning at 6 p.m.
In addition to discussing invoices, the subcommittee is expected to review the end of the year report for the 2011-12 fiscal year.
