MUSIC VIDEO: Tuttle School Students — 'Reading Logs'

The Electric Turtle Production TEAM at Grove J. Tuttle School has created a fun and clever song parody to stress the importance of making sure the elementary school students complete their required "reading logs."

East Haven's Tuttle School students and staff recently took a few minutes out of their busy schedules to put together a fun music video parody that borrows its melody from the hit Miley Cyrus song "Wrecking Ball."

From there, the elementary school team changed up the lyrics to sing about the importance of making sure they take the time to complete their "reading logs — as well as how tough it is, in general, just to be a kid today.

You can watch the Tuttle video above. And below is the summary posted the project's YouTube video page:

"Reading Logs" is a parody song written to showcase the busy lives of kids and how they still find time to do their reading logs. Kids have a lot on their plates and still get it done! Simply put- Kids Are Awesome!

This video was written, directed, and performed by the members of The Electric Turtle Production TEAM at Grove J. Tuttle Elementary Schoo.

  • Lyrics written by Ronnie Suraci
