Final Version: East Haven School Bus Routes for 2012-13

There are significant changes to this year's school bus routes. Wondering if your family's street is among them? Here's the revised and finalized list.

It's almost time: Opening day for students is now .

And after to fine tune the schedule, which had already gone through due to the budget reduction of two school buses, the final version of the 2012-13 school bus routes have been released.

The list — which also include the local East Haven bus routes for St. Vincent's, Lyman Hall, The Sound School and Platt Tech  — are attached to this article as a PDF document.  There are a total of 28 routes in all this year.

Because of the large number of changes, Durham School Services, the company that operates and manages the district's bus service, is asking families to make sure they are at their scheduled stops "a minimum of 45 minutes prior to the start time of your school."

School Drop Off Times

The following is the list of scheduled bus drop off times for individual schools. Grade 3-5 schools include Momauguin, Ferrara and Tuttle. And K-2 schools include D.C. Moore, Overbrook and Deer Run.

  • Middle School - 7:45 a.m. to 8 a.m.

  • Grade K-2 Elementary - 9 a.m. to 9:15 a.m.

School Dismissal Times

Durham noted that buses do not actually leave at the scheduled dismissal time for each school times. But instead, five to 10 minutes after the posted times.

  • High School - 1:50 p.m
  • Middle School - 2:20 p.m.
