Old Stone Church Playschool Registration

Affordable Playschool for you child.

The Old Stone Church Playschool at 251 Main St., East Haven, is currently registering students for the Fall/Winter 2015-2016 program this September. Students must be 2 years and 8 months by September 1, 2015. We are an affordable Playschool offering classes for 3, 4, and 5 year olds. It is non-sectarian and was not organized for profit. We provide a stimulating age-appropriate learning environment to meet today’s growing educational needs. Our teachers are warm and caring with many years of experience. The program includes both time for individual play and group activities, providing for the individual differences and social needs of each child. The Playschool offers a Nursery Program from 8:45 to 11:45 a.m., an Extended Day Program to include lunchtime from 8:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and an All Day Program from 7:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. three or five days a week.  We accept Care4Kids child care assistance program.

The Playschool also provides a Pre-K Program for children who are eligible for Kindergarten this September but would like another alternative year. Theses classes are held 5 mornings a week.  Morning and afternoon snacks are provided.

The Old Stone Church Playschool has been providing this service to the families of East Haven and surrounding communities for over 52 years. The school is inspected and approved by the East Haven Fire Marshall and the East Shore District Health Dept., and is licensed by the State of Connecticut Office of Early Childhood. The Connecticut State Dept. of Education, Preschool Curriculum Framework is our guide.
