East Haven Rotary 'Students of the Month'

The local club recently honored two current East Haven High School students for their academic excellence and community spirit.

The Rotary Club of East Haven recently recognized two current seniors from East Haven High School as the latest recipients of the local organization's "Student of the Month" program.

Two Students Honored

This month’s honorees were chosen from the last quarter of the previous school year, which ended this past June.

Those students are: Jennifer Montesanto and Brianna Spadacenta.

Students Recognized

Each month the Rotary recognizes a student from East Haven High School’s junior class.

The student is then invited to attend a Thursday night dinner meeting at the Beach Head Restaurant, and is presented with a certificate and a United States Savings Bond.

Winners then become eligible for a $1,000 scholarship to be awarded at the end of the scholastic year.
