East Haven Residents Named to International Nursing Honor Society

Carrie Cuomo and RoseAnna Petonito have been inducted into the international honor society for nursing at Quinnipiac University.

Carrie Cuomo and RoseAnna Petonito, both residents of East Haven, was recently inducted into the Tau Rho Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau, the international honor society for nursing at Quinnipiac University.

Cuomo and Petonito were among the 23 graduate students inducted this semester at a School of Nursing ceremony.

To be eligible for induction, a graduate student must have completed 20 credits in the ANP curriculum or 23 credits in the FNP curriculum.

In addition, they must also have achieved academic excellence, defined as a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Finally, they must meet the expectation of academic integrity.
