"We hope that it increases the amount of communication between the district and community and gives parents an easy way to find contact information for teachers and administrators," Taylor Auger, a member of the district's technology department who lead the development of the mobile site, told East Haven Patch in an email.

Auger added that the district also plans to incorporate an anti-bullying component in the near future.
