East Haven High School Valedictorian Inspires All

There’s an inspirational story out of East Haven this morning. East Haven High School Valedictorian Michael Scoopo has overcome so much in his life and the reward for all of the hard work came full circle Monday night.

Scoopo, who contracted E-coli in 2000 when he was just 5, almost died and suffered two strokes that leave him unable to write or talk on his own, or walk.

But that hasn't stopped Scoopo from excelling and leading East Haven High School’s class of 2014.
