Ease On Down Wheelbarrow Lane

It was a tough go there for awhile, what with missing 10 rehearsals due to snow and more snow, said play director Dan Schmidt. But the East Haven High School theatrical troupe pulled it all together to razzle-dazzle the town with its rendition of "The Wiz," an urbanized take on the original "Wizard of Oz."

Starring Robyn Genzano as Dorothy, Kari Collins as the Scarecrow, Taylor DiMartino as the Tin Man and Connor Thornberg as the Cowardly Lion, the show goes on March 25 and March 26 at 7 p.m.

Genzano sings beautifully and delivers a delightful Dorothy. Collins is full of energy and pizazz. Both DiMartino and Thornberg have an endearing stage presence.
