East Haven Academy Assists Food Pantry

The East Haven Academy students do their part to develop various community service projects to benefit the East Haven Food Pantry.

Over the last several weeks students at East Haven Academy have been working together on a variety of community service projects with all proceeds benefiting the East Haven Food Pantry

Mrs. Kucenski’s sixth grade and Mrs. Peaslee’s fourth grade students worked together to organize a food drive and collected 563 cans — surpassing their goal.

Seventh and eighth grade students under the direction of Mrs. Cappello, Miss. Doherty, Mrs. Staires and Mrs. Russell held a Valentine’s Day craft fair with various handmade items priced from 50 cents to $1.50.
