After Sandy: East Haven Schools Will Reopen On Monday

East Haven Public School students will return to the classroom this Monday after a week of cancelled classes due to Hurricane Sandy and lingering power problems left in the historic storm's wake.

Hurricane Sandy and the lingering power problems the historic storm caused the town forced East Haven Public School leaders to cancel classes all this past week.

But with power restored to the majority of the town, come Monday morning the school district's students, teachers and staff will once again return to the classroom.

The East Haven Mayor's Office announced a short time ago that Superintendent of Schools Anthony Serio has confirmed that all East Haven schools are back online and will reopen Monday morning.
