Town ADA Improvements

A residents thoughts on upcoming Public Hearing

This Tuesday night there will be a Public Hearing at The East Haven Senior Center and at that Public hearing The Town Council will be making a decision on to approve $10,000 dollars towards ADA Improvements in East Haven.

I as a resident am thankful for the current administration for placing this money up for discussion but in particular I would like to thank  Art Desorbo for working with residents of our town to begin to address the issues at hand that effect the quality of life for disabled residents and their families.

It  is with the best of intentions that I as a resident ask those in the East Haven Community who may be facing  life's daily challenges with a disability to turn out and speak in favor of acquiring this much needed money so that the long road towards building an East Haven which is accessible to all may begin.

I as a resident will be there as I fully support making East Haven accessible to all and I do commend Art Desorbo for placing this into public hearing so that we may begin to build the bridge towards  better future for all.

I am asking Town Council members to put aside their political affiliations for one evening and do in their hearts what they know is the right thing to do.
