Your Favorite Bank: Peoples United Bank

Peoples the clear winner as East Haven Patch readers' favorite spot in town to do their local banking.

is East Haven's unofficial "Favorite Bank," garnering some 73 percent of the votes in our first Best of East Haven poll.

Its closest rival was , which garnered some 10 percent of poll votes.

Stay tuned next week when we ask readers to choose their favorite slice of pizza in — should be an interesting week to see who readers choose as their top slice in town!

Our inaugural Best of Patch contest kicks off this week with money on our mind.

We're looking for the best place in to do your banking — and why.

Here are some of the options. But if we're leaving one off of the list, please let us know in the comments below.

  • (North Frontage)
  • (Main Street)

Voting in the poll below is open until Friday at 9 a.m. Ties will be broken by the business that has the most positive comments in the section below. We will then announce the winner Friday at noon.

How come the details of this tragedy are not reported? The road was shutdown for five hours! I heardRead More the contractor moved the lines in the road to avoid the secret military plumbing project and didn't post signs to alert drivers.
