TODAY: Maturo, Newly Elected Town Officials Sworn Into Office

East Haven Mayor Joseph Maturo, Jr. will be sworn into office Saturday in an inauguration ceremony on the town green.

East Haven Mayor Joseph Maturo, Jr. will be sworn into office for his 7th term as mayor Saturday. 

The inauguration ceremony, which will also feature the swearing in of other newly elected town officials, will take place on the East Haven Town Green.  

Maturo who served five terms from 1997 to 2007, returned to office in 2011, which gives him the distinction of becoming the longest serving mayor in the town’s history.
