State Shoreline Task Force Holds First Meeting

Climate Change and Shoreline Preservation Task Force will hold its first meeting later this afternoon at the Legislative Office Building in Hartford.

The will hold its first meeting today, Feb. 27, in Room 2A of the Legislative Office Building in Hartford, beginning at 3 p.m.

The task forced is chaired by resident and Democratic state Rep. .

At the meeting, board members will meet to organize the task force. In addition, the group will also set objectives to meet its charge of looking at how the state can protect its shoreline, adapt to changes in climate and address the needs of shoreline and waterfront residents and businesses.
