Hagaman Offering Cool Summer Stuff

The town library has a full menu of varied events this summer.

Yup, there is a reading group at the Hagaman Memorial Library going on this summer. But the town's only library is offering the community so much more. Like a World War II machine gunner who will be guest speaker for the veterans discussion group later this month. And an identity theft seminar in July.

Check out the listings below. You just might see something that piques your interest. It's free. It's local. It's good stuff.

June 29, 2 p.m.: The WW II Veterans Discussion Group will feature Joseph Minto, a private, first class and machine gunner with the U.S. Army in Europe, who will show a DVD in which he is interviewed about his experiences when his river assault boat was knocked upside down by a German shell.  He will also speak about his involvement in the capture of Wernher von Braun.
