Fontana Campaign to Hold 'Pasta Night" Fundraiser in East Haven

Steve Fontana, a Democratic candidate running for the 34th District seat in the State Senate, will hold a pasta dinner fundraiser at the East Haven Senior Center on March 21.

The folowing is a press release submitted by the Fontana for State Senate campaign.

Please join Steve Fontana at his “Pasta Nite” campaign fundraiser on Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at the , 91 Taylor Avenue, in East Haven from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm.

The event’s requested contribution is $25, with a minimum of $10 and a maximum of $100.

In January, Fontana for State Senator for the 34th District, which encompasses all or part of the towns of Wallingford, East Haven, North Haven, and Durham.

Fontana served as North Haven’s State Representative in the General Assembly from 1997 to 2011. During that time, he served as chairman of the Energy & Technology Committee for four years, and as the chairman of the Insurance & Real Estate Committee for two years.

He also is a former member of North Haven’s Conservation Commission, it Board of Finance, and its Board of Selectmen, and continues to serve the people of North Haven as Secretary of the town's Montowese Volunteer Fire Association, as Secretary of the Quinnipiac River Watershed Association, and as an Honorary Director of the town's Peter's Rock Park Association.
