To help East Haven residents impacted by Hurricane Irene, the town is holding a Help Fair on Sept. 3.
The fair will run from 9 a.m. to noon at East Haven High School, 35 Wheelbarrow Lane, and representatives from FEMA, Red Cross, CT Insurance, CT DECD, U.I., AT&T, Comcast, United Way and more will be there to answer and address any questions, comments and concerns.
Because many people are cleaning up, the town landfill’s hours have been extended to Monday through Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., until Sept. 9 for East Haven residents to bring debris.
