Earlier this week members of the East Haven Republican Town Committee selected its new executive committee.

The East Haven RTC leadership slate is as follows:

  • Secretary - Jim Farrell
  • Treasurer - Sal Maltese
The executive committee members will now serve a two-year term, from 2014-16.

I thought that party was the GOP? Looks like the GOB (good old boys). Are their any women on the RTC?

Magenta makes an interesting point. The DTC is much more "inclusive" seeing all the black and Hispanics in leadership positions makes for a warm a fussy feeling.

the problem can be solved very easy. when positions open up people, and yes the women on the RTC, need to want to be nominated. There was one women running for SEC. but lost by 2 votes. can't force people to run for positions, any position. Magenta is welcomed to join the RTC and run next time such spots are filled.

Richard, the goal of Magenta is not to solve a problem. It's intent is a snarky wisecrack and nothing more.

I know, I was trying to be nice and give Magenta away to solve the problem since it is a big concern.
