Cubellotti Joins Independent Party

A message from the offices of the Independent Party of East Haven:

It is with great pleasure that the Independent Party of East Haven welcomes District 4 Town Council member, Robert Cubellotti.

“Our party has just gained a well-respected member of the East Haven community.  Bob is not only active in town government, he also serves on several charitable and community organizations. We look forward to working with Councilman Cubellotti. Town residents will now have a voice independent from the political agenda of Democrats and Republicans alike.  I know that Bob will truly represent the people who elected him,” said Interim Vice Chairman Jim Midolo.

When asked, Bob said that he “look[s] forward to continue serving the East Haven community and especially the residents I represent in District 4 with an independent voice. For too long both political parties in East Haven have polarized our great town with perpetual political fighting that only causes taxpayer suffering. Joining the East Haven Independent Party gives a fresh new perspective, changing the political landscape from a system that favors the established politicians to one in which the taxpayers of East Haven will finally be represented at the Town Council.”

Interim Chairman, Dan McCann echoed those sentiments.

“Having Bobby with us now begins the transformation of the political agenda of East Haven. Bobby is very well respected around town and liked by many people both inside the political arena and community. I know that with Bobby on our side it’s a winner for the taxpayers of East Haven who have had enough of the two-ring circus that Democrats and Republicans have played at Town Hall. Hopefully, with a big name coming to our team it will send a clear message to Town Hall and both political parties that the East Haven Independent Party is a serious player and now we have a seat at the table.”

The East Haven Independent Party meets every 4th Thursday  at 7:30pm at the East Haven Beach House, across the street from the Sandpiper.
