This Saturday: East Haven Police 'Stuff A Cruiser'
The officers' union will be collecting donations for the East Haven Food Pantry this Saturday, Nov. 23 at the new ShopRite on Foxon Road.
The East Haven Police officers' Local 1662 is holding a "Stuff a Cruiser" benefit this Saturday at the new ShopRite on Foxon Road to raise donations for the East Haven Food Pantry.
The officers will be at the supermarket Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. In addition to non-perishable items, monetary donations are also welcome.
This is the second drive the union has held this month, with officer collecting for the pantry last weekend at the Super Stop & Shop in the Trolley Square Plaza.
"Thank you for making our 'Stuff a Cruiser event a success! Your donations will help us help those less fortunate this holiday season," the union stated on the EHPD Facebook page.
The status then added: "Santa Claus is coming to town..Stay tuned for details..."
