Report: East Haven Man Facing Manslaughter Charge

Multiple news outlets are reporting that the East Haven man was allegedly drunk when he caused an accident that killed a Naugatuck man.

A 44-year-old Naugatuck man was killed this weekend when his car was hit by a drunk driver, multiple news outlets are reporting, citing Connecticut State Police.

The man killed has been identified as Miguel Aquilar, according to WFSB.

The driver who reportedly hit his car, Drew Bridgman, 23, of East Haven, was charged with manslaughter and driving under the influence, along with motor vehicle infractions, the Republican American reports.

The accident happened at 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22, on Route 8 in Trumbull.
