Police: We Need Your Help in Finding Identity Theft Suspect

Clinton Police are asking shoreline residents to help them track down a female suspect in a case that involves alleged identity theft and fraudulently-obtained prescription drugs.

Does this woman look familiar to you?

If so, please contact the Clinton Police Department at 860-669-0451. You can ask for Cpl. Pucillo or Sgt. Flynn.

The suspect, described as a white female, thin build with brown hair, is a suspect in yesterday's alleged theft complaint involving fraudulent prescription and identity theft.

According to police, they are investigating an identity theft complaint on Oct. 3 where a fraudulent prescription was called into the CVS pharmacy in Clinton.

The prescription was picked up by the woman in this photo (provided by CVS).

Police say the woman provided a name and date of birth which matched a customer who had never used this CVS branch and had not used a CVS pharmacy in over one year.

The prescription was discovered by another pharmacist because it did not match the medication currently prescribed to the victim. The victim resides in East Haddam. The doctor's name on the prescription is listed as that of a physician assistant in Middlesex Hospital.
