[UPDATE] Missing East Haven Child 'Found Safe' in Hamden

Luis Gonzalez, a child with special needs who is also on medication, was found safe in Hamden, East Haven Police reported Saturday evening.

Update at 8:40 p.m. on Saturday

The East Haven Police have just reported that the missing child, Luis Gonzalez, has been located in Hamden.

"Luis was found safe and has been reunited with his family," Sgt David Emerman stated in the update.

The East Haven Police Department is trying to locate an endangered male juvenile with special medical needs.

The male juvenile is identified as Luis Gonzalez, 11 Years Old. Gonzalez was last seen at approximately 2:45 PM on Saturday December 8, 2012 in the area of Main Street and Boston Avenue, East Haven, CT.

Gonzalez is a special needs child on medication. Gonzalez is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5 feet tall, weighing approximately 90 pounds, with glasses.

He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a dark colored shirt, and white sneakers with red writing.

Anyone that has any information of his whereabouts is asked to call the East Haven Police at 203-468-3820 or any police department at 911.
