EHPD Looking for Witnesses to Twin Pines Diner Shooting

On Sunday, one person was shot at the local diner and is recovering from non-life threatening injuries. Police are asking for the public's help.

In the middle of the night on a peaceful July evening, the East Haven Police Department responded to a local eatery, Twin Pines Diner, for a reported shooting. 

The diner, located at 34 Main Street, was the site of a shooting that took place outside of the diner. 
 
Upon arrival, police was determined that a male victim had sustained a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the hip.  The victim was transported by private vehicle to the hospital prior to police arrival.  

It was determined that the victim was shot outside the restaurant. Witnesses reported that numerous shots were fired.  

During their investigation, police located damage to the building as well as a vehicle on scene that was parked and unoccupied at the time of the shooting.
