East Haven Police: Tokyo Leisure Club Owner Arrested A Second Time

In Ok Smith was arrested a second time after investigators learned the East Haven massage parlor had reopened and was "again suspected to be engaged in prostitution activities," according to police.

The following is a press release from the East Haven Police Department.

As a result of the search warrants executed on October 21, 2013 at Tokyo Leisure Club and 28 Duncan Street within East Haven, officers on November 5, 2013 arrested In Ok Smith (DOB 7-14-1965) on an arrest warrant charging her with Promoting Prostitution in the Third Degree.  

Smith had been previously arrested on October 21, 2013 on a warrant stemming from the search warrants that were executed at the same locations in May 2013. 

Smith was previously charged with Promoting Prostitution in the Second Degree in that case.  

Following the execution of the initial search warrants, investigators learned that Tokyo Leisure Club had reopened and was again suspected to be engaged in prostitution activities.  

Smith was released on a $5,000.00 non-surety bond. Smith’s court date is November 13, 2013, at New Haven Superior Court.
