East Haven Police: Second Suspect Arrested In Wells Fargo Bank Robbery

Jeremias Cobian, 20, was arrested on warrant by East Haven Police on Wednesday while he was at New Haven Superior Court on unrelated charges.

East Haven Police have arrested a second suspect in relation to the armed robbery of the Wells Fargo bank on Hemginway Avenue in East Haven on Nov. 28.

On Wednesday, East Haven officers served an arrest warrant on Jeremias Cobian, 20, while he was at New Haven Superior Court on unrelated charges Wednesday, according to Sgt. David Emerman, the EHPD's public information officer.

Cobian was charged with first-degree conspiracy to commit robbery and first-degree conspiracy to commit larceny.

A second suspect Johnny McRae, 48, of Campbell Avenue in West Haven, was arrested early last month. McRae was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, first-degree larceny, first-degree larceny and first-degree conspiracy to commit robbery.

Emerman stated that no booking photo of Cobian was available as he was processed at court and not at the East Haven Police Department.
