East Haven Police Officers Collect Donations for Local Food Banks

East Haven Police Local 1662 Union President Sgt. John Miller, along with other East Haven officers, gathered collections outside of Stop & Shop Saturday.

President Sgt. John Miller, along with other officer volunteers, collected non-perishable items and monetary donations to benefit the East Haven Food Pantry and East Haven-based Connecticut Food Bank outside in the Trolley Square Place in yesterday.

The department has placed a donation box in the foyer of the department's headquarters, and members of the community are welcome to drop off items to assist the effort.
