So what was this all about?
George Kenyon May 08, 2014 at 01:47 PM
There was an report that the suspect in Oxford made or implied threats against someone local. EHPD took protective measures.

Just curious y another town is contracted all the to EH from Durham?

Durham is just the name of the company, no reference to the town. They are a national company. The fleet that services East Haven is run out of a Short Beach Road location.

Marianne, the answer to your question is simple. The suspect in the killing location was unknown. He had connections to other towns as well, such as Winstead, Barkhamsted, Harwinton, New Hartford as well as EH. Schools in these towns were placed on lock-down as well. Durham I believe refers to the school bus company located on Short Beach Rd. but news makes no connection between wanted man and the bus company. Just to bad he was found before he finished trying to kill himself.
