East Haven Police Investigating Armed Robbery of Pizza Hut

East Haven Police are searching for two black male suspects who reportedly robbed the Pizza Hut on Foxon Boulevard at gunpoint on Saturday evening.

East Haven Police are searching for two black male suspects who reportedly robbed the Pizza Hut on Foxon Boulevard at gunpoint on Saturday evening.

According to East Haven Lt. David Emerman, shortly after 9 p.m on Saturday, Jan. 12, the Pizza Hut at 945 Foxon Road was robbed at gunpoint. 

The suspects are described as black males, one 5’7”, 150 pounds, in his 20’s wearing a ski mask and dark jacket. The second suspect is described as 5’7” to 6’1” in height, about 150 pounds in weight, and also in his 20’s.

"Both were armed with silver handguns," Emerman told East Haven Patch. "The suspects forced the employees to open the registers and stole cash."

He added that the suspects them fled in a dark colored four-door vehicle with dark tinted windows.

No one was hurt during the robbery at the restaurant, which recently opened along the busy boulevard.

Emerman said East Haven Police detectives continue to investigate the incident.
