East Haven Police: DUI Sobriety Checkpoints This Weekend
East Haven Police have scheduled the sobriety checkpoints at various locations throughout town.

Through an ongoing commitment to keep the roadways safe during the busy summer travel season, Driving Under the Influence (DUI) sobriety checkpoints are scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 17, 2012 through 4 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012.
The checkpoints will take place at various locations throughout East Haven.

This comprehensive motor vehicle enforcement strategy is part of an ongoing grant obtained from the Connecticut Department of Transportation to make the roads safer.
